Description

Large bell-shaped darner with convex top and three annular ridges. Top of bell unscrews, revealing a hollow area to hold thread. On bottom of screw top is written: "August 1877." Hole is present at bottom of bell near handle for thread to go through. Bell curves in at middle, giving it a slightly hourglass shape. Handle has annular knop at bottom and a finial, which unscrews from handle. Handle is hollow to hold needles and pins.
