Description

From the book: "A lace-like mesh pattern could hardly be any more simple than this. Yet this pattern has its own little touch of ingenuity; the purled rows help to compensate for the one-way pull of so many similar decreases, thus preventing the fabric from going too far on the bias. Since the basis of the pattern is a purled garter stitch, it is quite loose and stretches very readily."
