Notes

Carren’s Russian grandmother taught her how to knit at age 6. She became a more avid knitter while in law school, never putting her needles down. She inherited her grandmother’s metal needles, which she keeps in a vase on her desk. She is trying to determine what to create out of the last item her grandmother was knitting when she passed away - it’s Lett Lopi, which she knows well now as she has visited the factory in Iceland. She is thrilled that her children appreciate her work now that they’re in college.
