Description
The Weaving Mill is a small-scale industrial weaving studio in Chicago that designs and makes fabric in collaboration with designers and artists. In the fall of 2015, The Weaving Mill took a three week research trip visiting arts organizations, mills, artist's studios and friends. This trip was about situating TWM within the larger context of the domestic textile industry, understanding the potential of their own workshop, and meeting people who do parallel work. Research Trip is a 3-volume zine which documents, digests, and distills the information and experiences of that trip. Zine 3/3
