From the book: "This is an exquisite old French lace, unsurpassable for its openness and delicacy. Any garment made in this pattern would be a garment to be proud of. The pattern is not difficult, but it does require care in working. There is a "p3 tog-b" in Rows 4 and 8 which might prove a little awkward; it can be easily worked as follows: p2 tog, then sl the resulting st back onto left needle; with right needle pass the next st beyond over this st; then sl the same st to right needle again and proceed."Collection
