Description

From the book: "This pattern, which is similar to the standard cabled Hourglass, is made by an unusual method. The knit stitches forming the lattice are large and open, since in effect they are worked only half as many times as the purled background stitches. The latter will contract, of course, forming a rather dense fabric."

A friend taught Eugenia to knit when she was 11 years old. She knit on and off for several years until a few years ago when she decided to dive back into knitting. She traveled to Russia and Norway to learn different knitting skills and styles from experts in those countries. She now runs and writes a blog about yarn and knitting!
