After watching her mother knit for years, Tina took a class in the early 1980s. She loved it, but life eventually got in the way. Later, in 2013, her girlfriend suggested going to the San Diego Yarn Crawl - after walking into the first store Tina was hooked again, and has knit almost everyday since. While knitting this swatch, she reflected on her journey the past 5 years and how the wonderful craft of knitting has provided such enjoyment during good times and comfort during the tough ones.
