Artist book by Katie Han. The book has a dark blue cover with a cut out on the right side that shows through to the title page framing the title in Chinese. The spine of the book is sewn and is at the top of the book. The book is encased in a taupe colored slipcase that closes at the side with long buttons that slide into loops. There is a makers mark on the top right side of the interior of the box. The interior of the box has a marbled pattern lining. Stored with postcard from artist. Inscription: "April 2023 - To everyone at the Tatter Textile Library, Thank you so much for your interest in my book, "Through The Lotus Gate." I'm so glad it found a home at the Tatter Textile Library in such good company with the rest of your incredible collection - I plan to visit the next time I am in New York!
