Missy learned to knit over 25 years ago. Her mother and grandmothers taught her how to crochet, and a cousin taught her to knit. She used to knit gifts, but now she knits more for pleasure and for herself. Knitting has gotten her through several deaths as well as joyful times. She loves the camaraderie of other knitters, and she knits daily. She is always looking for a new pattern, and when she travels, she searches out local yarn shops as much as possible -- yarn is the best souvenir!
