Lorna is an artist who describes herself as a "knitting evangelist." She was taught to knit by her mother, who in turn was taught to knit in Jamaica by a group of older women. She is keen to burst the myth of who knits -- in particular, she likes to promote black knitters to boost visibility within the knitting community.
