Description
The image shows a framed Persian mezuzah from the 18th century, featuring intricate metalwork with hanging ornaments, which is displayed on a dark background. Accompanying the artifact is a plaque that states it is a gift from Mrs. Maurice Karr, Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Karr for a Bar Mitzvah, honoring Matthew Lloyd Karr. The mezuzah is intricately designed with engraved details, and its historical significance is emphasized by the formal presentation within a wooden frame.
