Four scrolled feet support an elaborate trestle base consisting of a pair of vase and block turned legs flanking crested cartouches at either end. Visible on one side is a pair of frieze drawers beneath the top, each having a central cartouche with an applied Classical bust (one male, one female) below the wooden keyhole escutcheon (there may also be identical drawers or false drawers on the opposite side). The short sides of the frieze have raised panels with central cartouches. The frieze and top have rounded corners and have molded edges top and bottom.Dimensions
