The front legs are turned, tapered, and connect to the rear legs by four plain dowel stretchers. The rear saber legs rise to form the slightly serpentine back uprights which are reeded and connect to each other by a curved and arched crest rail and two back splats. The crest rail is notched and has an applied panel of burled veneer. The seat is "D" shaped, caned, and joins the back rails with bracketed demi-arms, thus, this chair form is also known as a "Demi-arm chair. One of a pair AC.2024.098 and AC.2025.074.Made/Created
