BackgroundNote
The lighting fixture on the second floor landing is an example of a spiral chandelier, a fixture characterized by a winding, helical design in a single swirling pattern featuring leaded glass crystals that cascade downwards to create a striking visual effect. Our fixture is an example of the teardrop spiral wherein the crystals decrease in size as they descend from the ceiling, creating a sense of motion and vibrancy. The effect of the upwardly reflected light on the ceiling is unique to spiral chandeliers and adds yet another decorative element.
