Mirror, Mantel

Over Mantel Mirror, unknown maker, Renaissance Revival, ca 1870.

The fluted and reeded frame surrounding the plain mirror glass has plinth blocks with carved Acanthus and patera knobs at the base and engaged spool turnings at the top. The projecting cornice has a molded edge and a series of attached buttons for ornamentation.
