Woman's dark brown Austrian hat with a broad black damask-woven hatband. Crown of hat is tall and tapers slightly towards the top, which is slightly concave. Brim of the hat goes all around the crown and is upturned sharply at the outside edge which is edged with black velvet. A square of the same black damask overhangs the back edge of the brim and is trimmed with a black fringe. Inside crown is a red and black checked sweatband.Acquisition
