Part A) Rectangular silk scarf printed with a scene in the Edo art style. Scene depicts a large ship and two smaller vessels sailing in close proximity to each other on a blue river or lake. The men on each boat are dressed in traditional short robes and engaged in various activities, such as propelling their vessels, scooping water in a bowl, and inspecting wares. Purple and green mountains are visible in the distance. Left and right sides of scarf are selvedge, while top and bottom edges are hemmed. Reverse of scarf is white.
