Part A) Ivory linen handkerchief holder. Shape of a square folded in half. Pinhole borders. When folded in half, front of holder is embroidered with white floral sprigs and the text "Handkerchiefs" in a fancy print font. When opened, holder contains two rectangular pockets.
Part B) White and pale blue cotton handkerchief. Outside edges as well as middle of handkerchief are drawn through with a pale blue thread. Blue french knots inside handkerchief. Top left corner of handkerchief is embroidered in white with a small square and a stylized cursive symbol that appears similar to a "3". Below this white square is a larger embroidered blue square which contains what appears to be a Chinese character.
Part C) Ivory linen handkerchief. Pinhole borders around outside edges. Bottom left corner is hand-embroidered in white with a circle containing the name "Gertie" in cursive font.Acquisition
