Description

White silk men's shirt. Flat collar. Full-length raglan sleeves, each with a cuff and a sleeve slit with single button closure. Gathered at cuffs. Single broad welt patch pocket on left breast. Six button placket at center front of shirt.

Use

This shirt was worn by the father of the donor for his wedding day on January 31st, 1937. The wedding took place in a Russian Orthodox Church as both the bride and groom's families were of Ukrainian ancestry.
