Part A) Ivory satin silk (?) wedding gown. Fitted bodice. Wide and shallow rounded neckline. Hip length sleeves. High waistline just below bust. Sleeves are edged with white machine-made lace with an abstract floral pattern. Broad segment of same lace around entire waistline. "Lightning" zipper closure at center rear of bodice. Skirt is A-line and floor length. Bottom hem is edged with same floral lace. Brown spots of discolouration on skirt.
Part B) Ivory satin petticoat. Darts at waist. Broad band of material with shallow "V" shaped bottom attached vertically at center rear waistband. "Eflon" zipper closure at left waist.
Part C) Ivory lace headdress. Rounded cap made from five panels of ivory satin drawn over with same machine-made floral lace as on dress. Two panels of the same lace with a center rear seam are attached inside the sides and back of the cap. Lace is gathered at cap, and is approximately waist length.Acquisition
