Part A) Dark grey and taupe silk bodice. Upright collar. Long sleeves with button-trimmed cuffs. Button closure down center front. Several buttons are missing. Collar, cuffs, front panels, and back tails are trimmed in corded silk. Bodice forms a V-shape at front waist and has pointed tails in back. Shiny lining. Twill tape attached at back. Many tears and holes.
Part B) Dark grey and taupe silk skirt. Black twill waistband. Brown band at waist. Front panel and back flounce are dark grey. Front panel is smocked, pleated, and has three pleated points at bottom. Shining lining. Green panels sewn inside, under an overskirt. Many tears and holes. Hem is very torn.Acquisition
