Part A) Brown, beige and blue shirtwaist dress. Standing beige and brown striped collar with attached buttoned placket down center front of bodice. Each shoulder has a printed pattern of galloping brown horses over brown, beige and blue stripes. Sleeves are straight, wrist-length, and striped brown and beige. Each wrist has a wristband and a wrist slit on outside with button closure. Wristbands have same horse pattern as shoulders. Bodice is brown jersey knit cotton with darts at bust. Natural waistline. Skirt is beige, A-line and knee-length. Tucks around waist with brown and blue stitching, which descend vertically down past the hips to become knife pleats. Bottom hem has same horse pattern as shoulders as well as broad brown band.
Part B) Brown faux leather belt with horse buckle. Buckle is an elongated gold metallic oval, with an ivory enamel (?) front and image of a galloping brown horse.Acquisition
