Part A) Pale blue organdy bridesmaid's dress. Wide cape collar extending to shoulders, with organdy flowers in purple, pink, yellow and pale blue edging the neckline. Wide scoop neckline. Sleeveless. Natural waistline, with two sections of pin tucking in bodice at waistband in front and back. Skirt is ruffled from below hips to bottom hem, with topmost ruffle edged with organdy flowers in purple, pink, yellow and pale blue. Yellow discolouration under arm holes. Fraying and needle holes at left and right hip.
Part B + C) Pair of white cotton and lace pantaloons. Top half of pantaloons consists of cotton tube. Elasticated band drawn through top opening and sewn into knees. Bottom half of pantaloons consists of a full and gathered section of drawn thread embroidery lace on a machine-made net ground. Chevron edge trimmed with embroidered lace.
Part D + E) Pair of ivory half-circle, knife pleated net "false hips," or faux panniers. Originally sewn into the hips of Part A. Bottom edges fraying.
Part F) Scrap strip of pale blue organdy. Blue hem on bottom long edge. Top long edge is frayed. Needle holes down entire length of middle.Acquisition
