Red and white wool sweater. Wide and shallow scoop neck. Yoke, shoulders, and top half of sleeves are red and consist of a single segment, sewn diagonally onto the main body and sleeves of the sweater. Wrists are ribbed and red. Bottom edge of sweater is broad and red. The body and rest of sleeves are white. Front of sweater has an emblem made of red felt, depicting a circle on top of a diamond with an elongated top and bottom point, inside which are the letters "KA".Use

The emblem and lettering on the front of the sweater symbolize the Kappa Alpha Society fraternity, the first chapter of which opened in 1825 at Union College in Schenectady, New York.Acquisition
