Shears, sheep. Consists in applying a device for holding the blades of sheep shears wide apart when being ground. A bar A is pivoted to one shank and fits in a notch B in the other. The other end of the bar is squared, a spring C keeping the bar in position either opened or closed. When closed it lies flat and out of the way in the hollow of the shank.Cataloged By
