Shears. -- Relates to spring shears for opening eggs. A pair of spring shears, of which the handles A, A project at the side and the blades B, B when open embrace the egg, are pivoted to the edge of the cup. The egg being placed in the cup, the cover is shut down, and the curved blades of the shears drawn together, removing the top of the egg. A spring C subsequently opens the shears.Cataloged By
