Shears, sheep. The bows are connected by a screw, and in order that the blades may be readily taken apart, one of the bows is fitted with a slot through which the screw passes. Small projections, either circular as shown, or of other shape, fit into each other to keep the blades in their proper positions. Instead of the projections, the ends may be grooved and a clasp fitted over them. The stops for preventing bridging are covered with leather to deaden the jarring when they come into contact.Cataloged By
