12,976. Birkhead, T. Oct. 12. Shears, sheep. Means are provided for regulating the power of the spring, especially in double-bow shears, to suit the strength of the shearer's hand. A screw stud A is placed below the junction B of the two parts of the spring for the purpose of altering their divergence.
