Scissors. -- These scissors are used for cutting in two directions at one cut, as in separating coupons &c. For this purpose the blades A, B are turned up at an angle at the ends, and between the ends a, b a small space is left for an adjustable cutter c. This cutter is fixed to the blade a by the screws e, e, which pass through both blade and cutter. The screws d, d pass through the blade a, but only work into the blade c, and are used for adjusting c when wear renders it necessary.Cataloged By
