Shears. -- In shears for trimming the edges of grass borders &c., having a trough D attached to the lower stationary blade B to catch the cut-off grass, the forward edge of the trough is cut or bent away from the blade so as to leave a wedged-shaped opening G between the trough and the lower blade, which can thus get under grass overhanging the border.Cataloged By
