Scissors, folding. The short shanks c, c1 of the blades an are hinged by pins b, b1 to handles h, h1 provided with stop pins d, d1. At s, s two lever springs f, f1 are pivoted, from which two springs f2, f3 extend to the shanks c, c1. When the scissors are unfolded for use, as show, the top ends of the lever springs abut against each other and the blades are forced apart. After pressing in the lower ends of the lever springs f, f1 the handles can be turned back so as to enclose the blades, in which position they are fastened by a catch g. On lifting the catch the springs f2, f3 separate the handles again.Cataloged By
