Shears. -- The two members A, B, having respectively a holding-jaw a and a cutting-jaw b, are pivoted together by means of a bolt C fitting a hole in one member and passing through a slot in the other. The members are also connected by a link E under the action of an opening-spring F upon the inner side of one of them. The nut D on the bolt C is made concave on the underside, and compresses a rubber washer d which acts as a spring and also prevents unscrewing of the nut in working.Cataloged By
