Scissors, shears, and like shearing-instruments. -- A pair of scissors or shears for cutting out and trimming the soles and heels of boots and shoes is provided with blades a, b, curved as at c, the lower blade b being also provided with a milled, toothed, or serrated working edge d. The scissors may be cranked in the handle, and may be double-jointed and have a spring fixed between the handles.
