Shears. -- Double-bow shears for sheep-clipping &c. are made so that the blades can be easily detached for sharpening. The two half shears are joined together by means of hooks and slots on and in the opposing tongues. After passing the hooks of one through the slots of the other when relatively disposed as show, the half shown in dotted lines is turned into parallelism with the other, when a lug snaps into a pit s and prevents separation.Cataloged By
