2228. Ziegelbauer, D. Feb. 7. Shears for tailors' use. On one or both sides of the shears, the pivot pin s is surrounded by a spiral spring f which acts between a disc b against the blade and a ferrule b1 against a nut m on the end of the pin. The spring is enclosed by a sleeve.
