Shears. -- The detachable blades G of sheep shears are made from thin sheet steel, and are attached to an extension C of the shank B by spring clips I, Fig. 3, formed from or secured to the blade. The clips pass through holes D, Fig. 4, in the extension C and engage sunk recesses D2 when the blade is moved longitudinally towards the bows. A socket F, formed from or secured to the blade, engages a piece E on the part C, and a catch J may be provided to engage a hole in the stop-piece H.Cataloged By
