Shears. -- In sheep shears having adjustably pivoted blades, the blades 3 are pivoted at the ends of extensions 5 on the handles, in order that as the end of the blade is worn away by re-sharpening, the cutting-edges may be adjusted towards each other to prolong the life of the shears. The blades are secured in position by screws 11, 14 which engage slots 9, 16 in the extension 5 and tapped holes in the blade. The slots may be formed in the blade and the tapped holes in the extension.Cataloged By
