[Provisional protection only.] Scissors, garden and pruning. -- A device for holding the stem while being cut is attached, so that the operation of pruning is effected by one hand only. The holding-arrangement consists of one or of two springs, or levers controlled by springs, attached to the blades and acting as pincers in such a manner that while holding the stem to be cut they allow free movement of the cutting blades. Abridged also in Class Hand tools &c.
