Scissors. -- Scissors for use with either hand are produced by making the blades double-edged and providing bows which may be turned through 180 on the longitudinal axes of the blades. One arrangement for effecting this reversal of the bows is shown in the Figures, and another is also described and shown in the Specification. As shown, the bow e, being formed with a socket b, turns round a pin f which terminates the shank d of the blade. This pin is provided with a square head g, and the bow is divided and forked close to the socket so as to sit hard upon the faces of the square head.Cataloged By
