Scissors. -- A short tube or sheath C of proper size and form to fit the forefinger is attached to or formed on one of the blades. Fig. 1 shows the application of the device C to a pair of pivoted shears with opening spring D; but the sheath may also be applied to bow shears. The scissors are operated and supported by the thumb and forefinger alone, leaving the rest of the fingers and the other hand free.Cataloged By
