Scissors for dividing seams. Between the prongs A, B of a fork set in a handle C a pair of spring scissors with long shanks is mounted by fixing one shank in the handle. The other shank extends over the handle, and ends in a press-button K. The ends of the prongs are provided with guards to turn back the raw edges of the seam as the instrument is thrust along it and the exposed stitches are cut. The prongs may be pinched nearer together by means of a cross-screw.Cataloged By
