7162. Ostermann, F.W., and Beazeley, M.W. April 8. Scissors. -- A mutilated toothed pinion c is attached to one blade a, and the other b is formed with a shot c1 which takes over the pinion and has teeth f on one side to engage it. The pinion has a square hub c2 which fits a square hole in the blade a, and it is secured by a stud d and nut c, while a washer e1 under the head of the stud prevents the other blade coming off.
