8219. Wright, T. April 18. Shearing-instruments. -- Relates to the hand-tool described in Specification No. 17,451, A.D. 1904, for tying the ends of yarn or thread, for the use of operatives employed upon winding, warping, weaving, and lace-making machines &c. The improvements consist of a shoulder d2, formed on the blade d to prevent the ends of the loop from entering the jaws too far, and a projection or hook d1 on the blade d to prevent the loop from slipping off during the tying.
