Shears. -- The shears are flyed out in one piece from a flat sheet of steel and the bow bent. The shanks are then twisted, one to the right and the other to the left as shown, bringing the blades into the correct position. Sometimes the blades and their shanks are cut out separately and joined by riveting, forming a double bow, the shanks being bent in the same manner.Cataloged By
