Scissors for cutting wicks. The pivoted blades 10, 11 have their outer edges 12, 14 raised to form a trough to retain the charred particles removed from the wick, the trough being completed by a transverse spring 16 on the upper blade. This spring also tends to maintain the two blades in contact and to assist the positive action of the cutters. For use with flat wicks, the blades are preferably curved in the direction of their length.Cataloged By
