Scissors. -- The blades are hinged so as to be readily taken to pieces for cleaning. One blade A carries a pivot a formed with a head to fit into a socket in the end of a slot b in the other blade B, which is further formed with a transverse groove at the back to fit the blade A. By turning the blades into the position shown in dotted lines, the blade A may be pressed on to the blade B so as to free the pin a from the socket in the slot b, and enable the two blades to be drawn apart.Cataloged By
