Description

Alice Colley (listed as Widow Colley) appears at Campo Lane in Gales & Martin (1787) with the maker's mark of the letter 'S' above a pair of crossed pipes. In Robinson's (1797) she appears at 37 Silver Street as Alice Colley & Son, with the letters "AIGO" next to a pair of crossed pipes. Her mark would have been registered with the Cutlers' Company, Sheffield.
