An image of seven pairs of scissors and a sheath.: Although labelled as Surgical Scissors at the source page (Wellcome Collection), the relatively short shanks and long blades of these scissors are more typical of Paper Scissors. The pair at the bottom of the image, just above the sheath, is in the style of the Albacete Desk Scissors with the ornate decoration on the top of the bows.
