Description

A pair of sprung scissors shaped like a dagger, with a silver sheath and handle. The sheath has a loop attached to it. The blades are marked "THE BIRCHAM DAGGER SCISSORS". The pivot area is marked "THORNHILL" on one side, and "NEW BOND ST" on the reverse. The hallmarks on the silver parts date the scissors to 1874/75.
