A small pair of folding nail scissors marked "PERRY & CO". They are also marked "PATENT NO 13322" but to date we have been unable to trace a corresponding patent document. Perry & Co. were a manufacturer of stationery and retailers of "fancy goods" who were headquartered in London, and it is possible that these scissors were made for them. The company was established in Manchester in 1824. Shoulder is st1, cross section is cs4, and the outer edges of the blades have been fashioned into nail files.Category
